Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index 30 closed on Thursday at 7,177.57 points, marking an increase of 149.4 points, or 2.13 percent, compared to the previous close of 7,028.16 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading value reached OMR 98,127,514, which is an increase of 19.4 percent compared to the previous session's value of OMR 82,170,445. The market value saw an increase of 1.375 percent, reaching approximately OMR 35.75 billion, as reported in a release by MSX.
