MSDF Introduces Digital Platform for Managing Private Associations

Doha:The Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF) has launched an electronic platform aimed at managing private associations and institutions as part of Qatar's digital transformation initiatives. This development seeks to enhance the services provided to entities registered under Decree-Law No. (21) of 2020.

According to Qatar News Agency, the platform consolidates various procedures into a single electronic system, aiming to expedite transactions and improve the user experience for those involved.

The new system covers multiple administrative stages, including the foundation and licensing processes, membership management, and requests for general assembly meetings. It also facilitates notifications for events and the submission of activity reports.

Moreover, the platform includes a public directory, which allows the community to access information about registered associations and institutions, including their objectives and board members. This feature is designed to promote transparency and emphasize the role of civil society.

Abdullah Mohammad Al Hajri, Director of the Private Associations and Institutions Department at MSDF, highlighted that the platform simplifies administrative workflows and boosts operational efficiency. It supports civil society organizations within an integrated digital government framework.
