Mowasalat (Karwa) has launched 90 new electric buses to facilitate transportation in the vast distances to and from stations, as the company is keen to provide all modern, comfortable, and environmentally friendly transportation solutions using the latest technologies. This aims to create world-class transportation facilities in preparation for hosting the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ and to be a real legacy that keeps pace with post-tournament sustainable development projects.

Karwa has already started operating electric buses on public transport routes; in addition to that, all alternative transport services for the Gold Line and Red Line of Doha Metro operate using electric buses.
