The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MOECC) in the State of Qatar, in a tweet posted by the Ministry on its official Twitter account, has emphasized that the entry of cars and motorcycles to meadows is a legal violation. This is in order to educate campers during the current winter camping season (2021-2022) about the need to preserve the environment.

MOECC has always educated the members of the community about environmental issues, to embody the importance of preserving natural resources and wildlife.

MOECC stressed that protecting the environment is a public issue and engagement in its protection is a national duty.

The Ministry also emphasized that there will be no tolerance toward environmental violations and environmental monitoring patrols will operate around the clock, to preserve Qatar’s environment.
