The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI), in cooperation with Qatar Social Work Foundation, organized Tuesday an introductory meeting about the services provided by the Foundation and its affiliated centers.

A statement from the Ministry said that the meeting aims to consolidate cooperation in the areas of joint work between the two sides and introduce the institution, its mission, goals, and the services provided by its affiliated centers.

A number of the Ministry’s employees were in attendance.

During the meeting, the Foundations officials and representatives of its affiliated centers presented a visual presentation on the Foundation’s specialized centers in the areas of supporting family stability, caring for orphans and the elderly, protecting children and women, empowering youth, caring and rehabilitating people with disabilities, and supporting those with behavioral disorders, in addition to other services provided for various society segments.

The nature of work, implemented projects, and services provided to groups benefiting from the centers were also reviewed.
