Doha: The Ministry of Transport and Qatar Chamber have formalized a strategic partnership agreement for the forthcoming FIATA RAME 2026 Conference, scheduled for November 9-10, 2026. Under this partnership, the Ministry will assume the role of Strategic Partner, with the event anticipated to draw significant participation from leaders in the local, regional, and international freight forwarding and logistics sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, the conference is being organized by Qatar Chamber through the Qatar Association for Freight Forwarding and Logistics (QAFL), in collaboration with the Federation of GCC Chambers. Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al-Thani, Chairman of Qatar Chamber, highlighted the value of the Ministry of Transport's strategic partnership, emphasizing its role in advancing the logistics sector and enhancing public-private partnerships in the state.
He noted that the conference is timely given current regional and global developments. The event will focus on themes such as sustainability, green transport, digital transformation, innovation, supply chains, and specialized logistics services, aligning with global trends and Qatar's vision for a diversified and sustainable economy.
His Excellency expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Transport for its support, underscoring that the collaboration between Qatar Chamber, the Ministry, and key stakeholders represents an effective public-private partnership model. This collaboration aims to enhance Qatar's position as a global hub for transport and logistics.
Conference sessions will cover various topics, including sustainability and green transport, digital transformation, innovation, supply chains, specialized logistics services, e-commerce, air freight, insurance, and risk management in logistics projects. The event will also feature a specialized logistics exhibition, offering Qatari, Gulf, and regional companies in the freight and logistics sector the chance to showcase their services, engage with international participants, and forge new partnerships and alliances.
