The Ministry of Sports and Youth is participating in the Arab Youth Empowerment Program 2023, currently organized in the Saudi capital Riyadh by the Technical Secretariat of the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports, under the theme ‘towards sustainable visions’.
A youth delegation from the Ministry, along with several ‘Ladaam Youth Ambassadors’ program graduates, are taking part in the event that continues from Oct. 6 to 12. The Qatari delegation will present Wednesday a working paper during a workshop entitled ‘Obstacles to empowering Arab youth and the solutions provided to overcome challenges’.
Bringing together 90 young men and women from 20 Arab countries, the event aims to empower Arab youth with the skills that qualify them to join the labor market, enhance their skills in modern fields, and improve the quality of life by preserving the environment and developing sustainability goals.
The program, which includes several workshops, field visits to some historical places, and entertainmen
t activities, also seeks to provide cognitive tools for young talents to achieve economic growth and technological progress in the Arab region.
