The Ministry of Municipality, represented by the Building Permits Complex Department, launched the first edition of the Guide of Requirements and Services for the Building Permit System in Qatar 2022, and the third edition of Building Requirements Guide, which included a number of improvements and updates to be available in the buildings.

Eng. Saad Abdul Karim Al Qahtani, Director of the Building Permits Complex Department at the Ministry of Municipality, said: “The launch of the first edition of the Guide of Requirements and Services for the Building Permit System in Qatar, and the issuance of the third edition of the Building Requirements Guide for Qatar, comes within the framework of the continuous update on the requirements of building permits for the State of Qatar, to keep pace with the urban development in the country, and to meet the needs of developers, engineering consultancy offices and those interested in the field of building and construction”.

Al Qahtani explained that the Building Requirements Guide targets all those concerned with the construction sector in the country, and includes all planning, organizational and design requirements for buildings, and is one of the most important projects implemented by the Ministry within its strategic plan and Qatar National Vision 2030.
