Doha: The Ministry of Interior (MOI), represented by the General Directorate of Traffic, actively participated in a Central Municipal Council meeting aimed at discussing comprehensive traffic plans and measures. The primary focus of the meeting was to enhance traffic flow and alleviate congestion within the city.
According to Qatar News Agency, the General Directorate of Traffic was represented by Director General of Traffic Brig. Jabor Ali Al Kubaisi and Assistant Director General Col. Mohammed bin Jassim Al-Thani. Alongside them were several department directors from the General Directorate, all contributing to the discussions and planning.
The meeting provided a platform to review the ongoing efforts by the General Directorate of Traffic to develop and modernize the traffic system. This includes initiatives to improve traffic flow, as well as implementing smart systems and conducting field studies. These efforts are being coordinated with relevant authorities to ensure a holistic approach to reducing congestion across the city.
