Doha: Qatar's Ministry of Interior (MOI) concluded Thursday an aviation security inspection training course for officers, with the participation of personnel from security agencies across GCC countries.

According to Qatar News Agency, the five-day course was organized by the Airport Security Department and covered several topics related to inspection procedures. The course emphasized the prominent modern equipment and technologies utilized in airports and provided an introduction to relevant international laws and standards concerning airport security.

The training program also included a field tour inside the airport, which covered various departments of the Airport Security Department. This segment of the course was aimed at enhancing the practical aspect of the training, acquainting participants with the nature and operational mechanisms across different sections.
