The State of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Culture, concluded its participation in the Riyadh International Book Fair 2023. Held under the slogan “An Inspiring Destination” at the King Saud University campus in Riyadh, the book fair lasted for 10 days.
During its participation, the Ministry of Culture showcased a variety of publications including novels, literature, research, science, law, and children’s books, which were admired by the public and visitors alike.
Director of the Libraries Department at the Ministry of Culture Jassim Ahmed Al Buainain said that the Ministry’s participation comes within the framework of enhancing cultural interaction and cooperation.
The Ministry of Culture’s participation in Arab and international book fairs constitutes an opportunity to present Qatari intellectual production to the public to learn about the continuous development in Qatar’s publishing and cultural production industry and to expand cooperation relations with those working in this field, he added

The Riyadh International Book Fair 2023 kicked off on Sep. 28, with the participation of more than 1,800 publishing houses in various fields of literature, arts, and knowledge across 800 pavilions.
