Attended by Minister of Transport H.E. Jassim Saif Ahmed Al-Sulaiti, the Ministry of Transport has organized a reception ceremony in the name of the State of Qatar for Member States of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO), in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco, on the occasion of the 66th meeting of the ACAO Executive Council.
The event was attended by Moroccan Minister of Transport and Logistics H.E. Mohamed Abdeljalil, Chairman of ACAO Executive Council Capt. Haitham Mesto, and ACAO Director General Eng. Abdennebi Manar. Several ministers, heads and representatives of Member States’ delegations, and accredited ambassadors in Morocco, were also present.
Mr. Mesto congratulated Qatar on the historic success of hosting the FIFA World Cup 2022, which amazed the world. He praised Qatar’s efforts in managing the air traffic during the global tournament, which saw a surge in air traffic movements.
He also wished more progress and prosperity for the Qatari people. Mr. Mesto also expressed his pride of the deep relation between the ACAO and both MOT and Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, affirming both sides’ eagerness to push those relations to broader horizons in such a way that serves joint, constructive Arab action.
