Baghdad Minister of Youth and Sports Adnan Darjal called on youth and the sports public to launch a campaign to support the national team in its next two matches against Lebanon and the UAE within the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Darjal stressed in a statement today, Monday, the need to support the national team and stand behind it and stimulate the players in order to overcome the failures in the previous match against Iran and achieve a positive result through which the team returns to the path of victories.

The Minister of Youth called for the launch of (hashtags) on social media by Iraqi youth and the sports public to support the lions of Mesopotamia, and to deliver a positive message to the players that we still trust their abilities to achieve positive results and compete for one of the qualification cards.
