Minister of Public Health holds high-level meetings in Geneva

H.E. Dr. Hanan Mohammed Al-Kuwari, Minister of Public Health, met separately with His Excellency Dr. Mai Al-Kila, Minister of Health of the State of Palestine, H.E. Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, Minister of Health of the Republic of Sudan, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Niedero Hamed, Minister of Health of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, H.E. Mr. Andrew Little, Minister of Health of New Zealand, H.E. Dr. José Angel Portal Miranda, Minister of Health of the Republic of Cuba, and Dr. Adriana Blanco Marquezo, Head of the Secretariat of the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control, Mr. Adrian O’Leary, Director of the Polio Eradication Programme at WHO, Mr. Mark Bishler, Co-Chair of Polio Partners Group and Ambassador permanent representative of Luxembourg to the United Nations Office in Geneva. The meetings were held in Geneva on the sidelines of the 57th World Health Assembly currently held in Geneva.

During these meetings, bilateral relations between Qatar, their countries and international organizations in various health fields were reviewed, with discussions focused on the most pressing local and global healthcare priorities and the efforts underway to improve healthcare services for all.
