Doha:First consultative session chaired by the Minister of Labour, Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri, marks the beginning of efforts to implement the Private Sector Nationalisation Plan.

According to Qatar News Agency, the session, which focused on state-owned companies and public-benefit entities, was attended by chief executive officers and senior management representatives. It aimed to facilitate the optimal implementation of the Private Sector Nationalisation Law by identifying effective mechanisms, addressing challenges, and gathering feedback from companies.

The Minister emphasized the Ministry's dedication to fostering a cooperative relationship with private-sector companies to ensure the successful implementation of the Nationalisation Law. The session served as a platform to hear the views of companies, understand potential challenges, and collaboratively develop solutions.

Dr. Al Marri highlighted that the plan seeks to increase Qatari employment in the private sector through clear targets, incentives, partnerships, and ongoing monitoring. He noted that achieving the plan's objectives relies on the coordinated efforts of the Ministry, sector regulators, and private companies.

The Minister reiterated that ongoing consultations with the private sector are crucial for meeting the Nationalisation Plan's goals and enhancing national workforce participation in private enterprises.
