Minister of Labour Engages with Officials at Doha Dialogue on Labour Mobility

Doha:HE Minister of Labour Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al-Marri held numerous meetings with labour ministers at the Second Doha Dialogue on Labour Mobility. The event, hosted by the United Republic of Tanzania on October 5-6, focused on advancing fair and sustainable labour mobility between Africa and GCC+ countries, with participants from over 33 nations.

According to Qatar News Agency, Dr. Al Marri conducted separate meetings with several officials, including HE Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office for Labour of Tanzania Deus Clement Sangu, HE Minister of Employment of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Ferdinand Massamba Wa Massamba, and HE Minister of Employment of Sierra Leone Umaru Napoleon Koroma.

Additional meetings were held with HE Minister of Labour of Somalia Professor Salim Alio Ibro, HE Minister of Labour of Lebanon Dr. Mohammad Haidar, and HE Minister of Labour and Employment of Nigeria Dr. Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, among others.

The discussions centered on enhancing bilateral cooperation in labour matters and exploring ways to strengthen these relationships. Key issues from the Doha Dialogue on Labour Mobility were also addressed during these meetings.
