Qatar Assistive Technology Center (Mada), affiliated with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, has announced the opening of nominations for the first edition of the Mada Innovation Award 2022, to continue until August 31, 2022. This is in preparation for the process of technical evaluation of the solutions provided and the beginning of the stages of competition and communication with participants to present their innovations.

The award, which is totaled QR 1Million, is regarded as the first award of its kind that aims to encourage and support innovative solutions that enhance the accessibility of information and communication technology for persons with disabilities and the elderly, whether they are hardware, software or even applications on smart phones.
