Military units of the Israeli occupation army fired artillery and rocket shells towards the towns of Shebaa, Halta, Kfarchouba, and Habbariyeh, southern Lebanon, following rocket shells that were fired from one of the southern areas towards the Israeli occupation’s sites in the Lebanese occupied territories.

The Israeli occupation forces’ pummeling resulted in wounding civilians who were admitted to one of the hospitals for treatment, a statement by the Lebanese army said on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese army has been deploying in the border areas and carrying out patrols, in addition to closely following the situation in coordination with United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
