Amman: The Ministry of Labor successfully restored the labor rights of 41 workers at a garment factory in the northern Jordan Valley, ensuring their continued employment in the sector. According to Jordan News Agency, the Ministry's inspection teams oversaw the process to guarantee that the workers received all due rights as part of its mandate to monitor labor conditions in the Kingdom's private sector. Haitham Najdawi, Director of the Central Inspection Directorate, highlighted the Ministry's role in this initiative during a statement on Thursday. 'Based on its role to follow up on the workers' labor rights in the Kingdom's private sector, the ministry supervised the delivery of all labor rights to the laborers in the target garment factory,' Najdawi said. Further ensuring the stability of these workers' livelihoods, Najdawi revealed that the Ministry facilitated the workers' transition to another apparel factory. This move not only secures their jobs but also provides transportation to their new workplac e, maintaining their active participation in the labor market.
