According to Qatar News Agency, the global oil markets also experienced decreases in crude oil prices. Brent crude futures fell by USD 3.91 to USD 96.78 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures dropped by USD 2.78 to USD 89.31 per barrel. These changes indicate a broader trend affecting oil prices worldwide.
