Kuwait Stock Market Declines with All Share Index Down 0.21%

Doha:The Kuwait Bourse ended Wednesday's trading session on a negative note, as the All Share Index fell by 18.25 points, closing at 8,779.38 points, marking a 0.21% decrease.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 289 million shares exchanged, with a total value of KWD 88.10 million, which is approximately USD 285.43 million, through 22,283 transactions.

The Main Market Index experienced a decline of 58.63 points, ending at 9,094.64 points, representing a 0.64% decrease. This was achieved through the trading of 161.6 million shares in 12,932 transactions, valued at KWD 34 million, or roughly USD 110.16 million.

The Premier Market Index also saw a decrease, losing 10.35 points to settle at 9,167.93 points, down by 0.12%. The trading involved 127.4 million shares executed via 9,351 transactions, with a value of KWD 54 million, approximately USD 174.95 million.

Additionally, the Bourse Main 50 Index dropped by 102.35 points to reach 10,212.60 points, a decline of 0.99%. This result came from a stock volume of 112.5 million shares traded in 9,096 deals, valued at KWD 24.3 million, or about USD 78.73 million.
