Doha:The State of Kuwait has expressed strong condemnation over the escalation by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank and the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by settlers, describing these actions as clear violations of international and humanitarian law.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Sunday urging the international community and the United Nations Security Council to fulfill their responsibilities by implementing measures to halt these serious and repeated violations and to protect the Palestinian people.

The statement also reaffirmed Kuwait's steadfast support for the Palestinian cause, emphasizing the rights of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state based on the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
