Kuwait city: The price of Kuwaiti oil saw a significant decrease, dropping by USD 2.97 to USD 84.97 per barrel in Thursday's trading. This is in contrast to the previous session, where the price stood at USD 87.94 per barrel, as reported by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).

According to Qatar News Agency, while the Kuwaiti oil price experienced a decline, global markets showed a slight increase in crude futures. Brent crude futures rose by 22 cents to USD 84.95 per barrel. Meanwhile, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures increased by 26 cents, reaching USD 79.60 per barrel.
