Doha: The Kuwaiti Cabinet has vigorously denounced the Iranian attacks on the State of Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and Jordan. During a meeting chaired by HH Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Cabinet stated these repeated assaults amount to a recurrent and egregious escalation and a breach of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of those nations. According to Qatar News Agency, the Cabinet emphasized that these actions gravely run afoul of the international rules-based order, the UN Charter, and UN Security Council Resolution 2817. It reemphasized that the State of Kuwait thoroughly backs these countries in all measures they take to safeguard their security, stability, and sovereignty. The Cabinet further asserted that the continuation of these actions imperils the security and stability of the region. It reiterated its call for Iran to cease these activities immediately, respect the sovereignty of those nations, and resolve disputes through peaceful means.
