Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah conducted a telephone conversation to discuss pertinent issues affecting both nations and the wider region.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussion centered on enhancing cooperation between Kuwait and Qatar, with particular emphasis on supporting and strengthening bilateral relations. The ministers also addressed recent regional developments, specifically focusing on diplomatic efforts and joint coordination aimed at reducing tensions and bolstering security and stability.

During the call, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs highlighted Qatar's commitment to supporting diplomatic initiatives that seek solutions for ensuring freedom of navigation and achieving a comprehensive agreement to establish sustainable peace across the region.
