Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister Holds International Talks to Halt Gaza Conflict and Ensure Aid Delivery

Amman – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, is maintaining international contacts as part of ongoing efforts to bring an end to the hostilities in Gaza and facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to the region.

According to a new release by Jordan News Agency, Safadi conducted telephone conversations on Sunday with foreign ministers from South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Morocco, and the United Arab Emirates. He also spoke with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. During these conversations, Safadi highlighted the dire humanitarian conditions that could worsen if the conflict continues. He stressed the importance of adhering to international law and international humanitarian law, emphasizing the need to bring an end to the hostilities.
