Jordan partakes in anti-human trafficking forum in Qatar

Jordan is taking part in the activities of the 4th edition of the Government Forum to Combat Trafficking in Persons in the Middle East, which kicked off on Tuesday in the Qatari capital Doha.

Secretary General of the Ministry of Justice Saad Lawzi is representing Jordan at the two-day forum, which is being held under the title “Combating Trafficking in Persons in Tourism Peak Seasons: Sports as a Model.”

According to a statement issued by the forum, participants will discuss challenges, developments and the latest developments on combating human trafficking mechanisms in the Middle East, in addition to exchanging relevant experiences and best practices, and means of enhancing and developing the capabilities of workers in this field.
