Japan restricted the export of a bigger number of industrial products to Russia, in response to the latter’s military operation in Ukraine.

The Japanese Ministry of Economy Trade said in a statement that the decision was made in a bid to promote international security. The banned products are in sectors including steel, aluminum, aerospace, machinery, ship engines, lab testing instruments, and games among others. The decision is effective starting April 7.
