Rome — Ayman Safadi, Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, had a phone conversation on Monday with his Italian counterpart, Antonio Tajani.

According to Jordan News Agency, the conversation was part of a consultative process focused on ending the war and delivering humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza. Safadi emphasized the collective global moral and legal responsibility to assist vulnerable populations in Gaza, including the elderly, children, and women. He warned that each day without a resolution to the conflict and the humanitarian situation could result in further loss of life and potentially set the region on a course toward extended conflict, violence, and instability.
