Israeli Forces Wound Palestinian Protestors in Ramallah

Ramallah, Occupied West Bank – In recent clashes near the Israeli Ofer military prison, located on the lands of Beitunia, west of Ramallah, Israeli forces shot and injured two Palestinian protestors.

According to Jordan News Agency, the confrontations erupted as families of prisoners gathered, anticipating the release of their family members as part of the second batch of the prisoner swap deal between Hamas and Israel. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that Israeli forces near Ofer Prison used live fire and tear gas against the Palestinian protestors. The incident reflects the heightened tensions and ongoing conflict in the occupied West Bank, particularly in the context of the sensitive prisoner swap negotiations.
