Beit Jinn:An Israeli force entered agricultural land on Monday between the town of Beit Jinn and its farm in the western Damascus countryside, opening fire on farmers.
According to Qatar News Agency, the force consisted of several Israeli military vehicles, and while shots were fired toward the farmers, no injuries were reported.
Earlier, Israeli forces had entered a military post in the same area and detonated it. This incident is part of a continuing series of Israeli violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, which includes repeated incursions into southern Syria, raids on civilian homes, leveling of agricultural land, and shelling.
Syria has consistently called for the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territory, asserting that Israel's actions are void and without legal effect under international law. Damascus has also urged the international community to fulfill its responsibilities and compel Israel to withdraw entirely from southern Syria.
