Beirut: The Israeli army has continued its violations of the ceasefire deal in Lebanon. According to Qatar News Agency, the Israeli army fired four Israeli artillery shells at the town of Khiam in southern Lebanon, causing material damage, in violation of the ceasefire agreement. A ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and the Israeli entity came into effect early last Wednesday, following a year-long Israeli offensive on Lebanese territory, which intensified at the end of last September, resulting in thousands of civilian casualties and the displacement of more than one million people from the southern part of the country.
