Israeli aggression against Jenin leaves 5 martyrs, 91 injuries

Five Palestinians, including a child, were killed and 91 others were injured, 23 of whom were seriously and critically injured, during the Israeli occupation forces’ continuous aggression against Jenin and its camp. The Palestinian Ministry of Health said Monday that the five martyrs are: Khaled Azzam Asa’seh (21) from the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, Ahmed Yousef Saqr (15), Qassam Faisal Abu Sariya (29), Qais Majdi Adel Jabareen (21) and Ahmad Daraghmeh, from Tubas and the northern Jordan Valley. the Ministry explained that Jenin Public Hospital received 63 injuries, including 10 critical injuries, one of which was a girl. A critical head injury was transferred to Al-Razi Hospital, while 27 injuries were transferred to Ibn Sina Specialist Hospital, including 12 serious injuries. Large forces of the occupation army, estimated at 120 military vehicles, reinforced with Apache helicopters, stormed the city of Jenin and its camp Monday morning, and deployed their snipers on top of some houses and buildings overlooking the camp, especially in the Al-Hadaf and Jabriyat neighborhoods. Violent confrontations took place in several areas of Jenin and its camp, during which the occupation soldiers fired live bullets, stun grenades and toxic gas at the two young men, which led to dozens of injuries, including critical wonds. For the first time since 2002, an Apache warplane bombed an empty land in the Jabriyat neighborhood of Jenin. An occupation military bulldozer destroyed a water carrier line in the Jabriyat neighborhood of Jenin, and caused an electrical outage in large parts of the Jenin camp.
