His Majesty King Abdullah, accompanied by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, on Sunday departed on an official visit to Spain. In Madrid, King Abdullah is slated to meet with King Filipe VI of Spain. During the visit, His Majesty will also hold talks with President of the Government of Spain Pedro Sanchez. In Cordoba, King Abdullah and King Filipe VI will co-chair a new round of Aqaba Process meetings, which will focus on West Africa and the Sahel region, with the participation of heads of state and delegation from the region and from a number of partner countries and organisations. His Royal Highness Prince Ali bin Al Hussein was sworn in as Regent, in the presence of Cabinet members.
