Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani on Thursday called on the international community to take action to save the Palestinians.
A statement from the media office of the Iraqi Prime Minister said that Al Sudani discussed, during his meeting in Baghdad with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the latest developments in the Palestinian territories, the siege imposed by the Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip, and the worsening humanitarian conditions experienced by the Palestinian people.
Al Sudani affirmed Iraq’s firm and principled position regarding the right of the Palestinian people to a decent life and the establishment of their independent state, stressing the need for the international community to take action to save the Palestinians.
