Baghdad: President of Iraq Nizar Amedi and Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi have discussed bilateral relations and ways to further develop them. During their meeting in Iraq Wednesday, both sides reviewed aspects of joint coordination regarding various regional and international issues of common concern, alongside avenues to enhance security and stability in the region.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on strengthening ties between Iraq and the GCC countries. The leaders emphasized the importance of collaboration to address regional challenges and to promote peace and security. The meeting is part of ongoing efforts to foster closer cooperation and dialogue between Iraq and the GCC member states.
