The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources on Monday announced resumption of transporting Iraqi crude oil to Jordan. In a statement, Director of the Ministry’s Oil and Gas Directorate, Iman Awad, said 422 tankers were loaded with Iraqi crude oil, with a total amount of 105,000 barrels. Of the total quantity, Awad added that about 300 tankers have already arrived in the Kingdom, loaded with Iraqi Kirkuk crude oil, with an amount of 80,000 barrels that were unloaded at Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company Ltd (JPRC), based on the memorandum of understanding and a contract signed to export Iraqi oil to the Kingdom.
