Doha: Iraq signed a total of 48 agreements, Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), and partnership declarations with public and private sector entities in the United States.

According to Qatar News Agency, the agreements establish a framework for bilateral economic and financial cooperation and advance both countries' mutually beneficial partnership further, as stated by the Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Alzaidi's Media Office.

The agreements and MoUs involve cooperation and partnerships with the Ministries of Oil and Electricity, their affiliated companies, and other government sectors with major corporations such as ExxonMobil, Shell, and Halliburton.

The agreements also include a deal between Iraq's Communications and Media Commission and Starlink to provide services, as well as another cooperation agreement with Halliburton.

Additionally, the agreements feature an MoU between the Iraqi private sector and Keysight Technologies, an agreement with PepsiCo, and several agreements related to the construction of crude oil pipelines extending to the Port of Baniyas on the Mediterranean Sea.

Partnerships in the education sector were also established, along with agreements between private sector entities in the pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply sectors.

Further agreements and MoUs were concluded with Polaris and the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). Moreover, two agreements were signed with Frito-Lay to support the development of the agricultural sector, along with partnerships involving other companies in the agricultural, commercial, and industrial sectors.
