Iraq Aims for 10 Million Barrels of Oil Production Per Day by 2031

Doha:Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Falih Al Zaidi announced that the country's oil production is projected to reach 10 million barrels per day by 2031. He emphasized the need for attracting foreign investment and bolstering international partnerships to support Iraq's economic growth.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Zaidi highlighted the importance of Iraq's economic openness following the reduction of foreign forces in the country. He stressed that enhancing Iraq's economic stability involves preventing international isolation and expanding cooperation with other nations.

The Iraqi government is focusing on developing a new economic identity through balanced programs, with a particular emphasis on infrastructure, especially in the electricity sector. Additionally, the Prime Minister noted the necessity for active international partnerships with economically developed countries to overcome the challenges posed by the current economic crisis.
