New York:Invest Qatar, the country's Investment Promotion Agency, has completed a successful high-level roadshow across New York and Boston. The initiative aimed to enhance engagement with leading US investors, businesses, and industry stakeholders while promoting Qatar's expanding investment opportunities in the fields of technology, biotechnology, life sciences, and healthcare.
According to Qatar News Agency, the roadshow was part of Invest Qatar's ongoing efforts to strengthen economic ties with the United States and to build long-term partnerships with businesses and investors interested in opportunities in Qatar.
Invest Qatar participated as an official partner in the Qatar Economic Forum: UNGA Special Edition 2026, held in New York on September 20. The program included targeted B2B meetings, networking engagements, and a high-level roundtable co-hosted with DLA Piper. The delegation engaged with leading US companies and investors, showcasing Qatar's competitive business environment, advanced infrastructure, and innovation ecosystem.
The delegation met with several companies, including Arbor Biotech, Alloy Therapeutics, Entech, and Enveda, to discuss Qatar's investment propositions. Additionally, Invest Qatar took part in a high-level roundtable organized by DLA Piper, which focused on opportunities in Fintech, AI, Healthtech, and cybersecurity.
Chief Investment Development Officer Fahad Al Kuwari commented on the roadshow's success, emphasizing Qatar's commitment to fostering relationships with investors and businesses that align with its goals of advancing innovation and sustainable growth across key sectors.
The roadshow led to new announcements and strategic partnerships such as an MoU with LG NOVA and Aurion Capital, a partnership with Apex, and collaboration with Brain Co. These partnerships aim to advance technology investment, strengthen Qatar's financial services ecosystem, and promote digital transformation through AI.
The United States remains a crucial strategic partner for Qatar, with economic relations having significantly strengthened over the past decade. There are currently 240 investment projects in various sectors between the two countries, which have created over 17,500 jobs and involved more than USD 26 billion in capital expenditure.
