Hot, Hazy Weather Expected Today Across Regions

Doha: Weather inshore until 6:00 pm on Thursday will be hazy at places at first, becoming relatively hot to hot during the daytime, the Department of Meteorology stated in its daily weather report. Offshore conditions are expected to be hazy to misty at times.

According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will initially be variable, transitioning to northwesterly to northeasterly at speeds of 3 to 13 KT. Offshore winds will mainly be variable northwesterly to northeasterly, with speeds ranging between 2 to 12 KT.

The sea state inshore is anticipated to be between 1 to 2 feet, whereas offshore conditions will range from 1 to 3 feet. Visibility inshore is expected to vary between 4 to 9 km, while offshore visibility will be 4 to 9 km, occasionally dropping to 3 km or less.

In terms of tidal information, Doha is expected to experience high tides at 04:31 and 18:49, with low tides at 01:35 and 11:58. Temperatures across different regions will vary, with highs reaching up to 43 degrees in Abu Samra and lows around 25 degrees in Al Khor.

The report further highlights that sunrise is at 04:48 LT and sunset at 18:11 LT, providing ample daylight hours for those planning outdoor activities.
