Under the patronage of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and hosted and organised by the Qatar Armed Forces, the activities of the 7th Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition & Conference “DIMDEX 2022” will be launched today, under the theme ‘Connecting the World’s Maritime Defence and Security Community’. The event will take place at Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC).

The new version, “DIMDEX 2022”, comes as an expression of Qatar’s awareness of the importance of maritime security for various countries of the world, as well as Doha’s keenness in gathering all those concerned with this important and vital sector from decision-makers, experts, specialists, developers of defence technology, maritime security, research and development institutions, under one roof to discuss the challenges and risks facing maritime security, and to learn about the latest innovations, equipment and devices to address these challenges.
