HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, yesterday morning, inaugurated the Mohammed Bin Ghanem Al Ghanem Maritime Academy at Al Shamal region.
HH the Amir turned the helm, signaling the opening, and listened to an explanation about the building’s units and its various modern facilities and equipment, such as the search and rescue building and the damage inventory building. During his tour, HH the Amir was briefed on the latest technological means used in the education field and practical and scientific development in the Academy.
HH the Amir was accompanied by HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah, HE Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit, HE Commander of Mohammed Bin Ghanem Al Ghanem Maritime Academy Rear Admiral Khalid bin Nasser Al Hajri, several security leaders and senior officials.
