Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani welcomed HE President Vahagn Khachaturyan of the Republic of Armenia and his delegation at Lusail Palace on Tuesday. The meeting marked a significant diplomatic engagement between the two nations.

According to Qatar News Agency, President Khachaturyan conveyed his condolences on the passing of HH the Late Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani. The reception was a solemn occasion attended by key members of Qatar's leadership, including HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani and other distinguished sheikhs and officials.

In addition to the Amir, the gathering included HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Personal Representative of HH the Amir; HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al-Thani; HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Thani; and HE Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al-Thani. Additionally, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, and HE Shura Council Speaker Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim were present.

The event also saw the attendance of several sons of the late Father Amir and other sheikhs, underscoring the significance of the occasion and the deep respect shown by Armenia towards Qatar during this time of mourning.
