Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani hosted a luncheon at Lusail Palace on Sunday to honor Al Gharafa Sports Club, the 2026 Amir Cup champions, and runners-up Al Sadd SC. The event was a celebration of the achievements of the players, coaching staff, and management teams of both clubs.

According to Qatar News Agency, the banquet was attended by notable sports and media personalities, as well as representatives of the tournament's sponsors. The gathering highlighted the accomplishments of the championship teams and their contributions to Qatari sports.

HH Personal Representative of the Amir, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani; HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Thani; and HE President of the Qatar Olympic Committee and the Olympic Council of Asia, Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, were among the distinguished guests at the luncheon. Their presence underscored the importance of the event in recognizing the hard work and dedication of the teams involved in the 2026 Amir Cup.
