Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has issued Amiri Decision No. 70 of 2024, establishing the Board of Directors for the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy. The decision outlines the leadership and structure of the new board, aimed at overseeing key national projects. According to Qatar News Agency, the decision appoints HE Prime Minister as the Chairman of the Board, with HE President of the Qatar Olympic Committee serving as Vice-Chairman. The board will also include HE Minister of Interior, HE Minister of Finance, HE Minister of Culture, HE Minister of Sports and Youth, HE Chairman of Qatar Tourism, HE Hassan bin Abdullah Al Thawadi, Eng. Yasser Abdullah Al Jamal, and the Executive Director of the Permanent Committee for Organizing Conferences. Additionally, the board will feature three members with expertise in the committee's areas of responsibility, selected by the Chairman of the Board. The decision allows the Chairman to incorporate representatives from other relevant parties i nto the board's membership. The decision is effective immediately and will be published in the official gazette.
