Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call from HE President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan. During the call, HH the Amir and President Erdogan exchanged condolences over the tragic helicopter crash involving Qatar's Armed Forces in Qatar's territorial waters, expressing their wishes for mercy for the martyrs and offering solace to the grieving families. According to Qatar News Agency, the conversation also focused on regional developments and efforts aimed at de-escalation and promoting stability. HH the Amir expressed gratitude to President Erdogan for Turkiye's endeavors to halt military escalation in the region. The dialogue further included discussions on the continuation of coordination and dialogue between Qatar and Turkiye to enhance bilateral cooperation and mutual interests.
