Kuwait City: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani arrived Sunday in the sisterly State of Kuwait to chair the State of Qatar's delegation to the 45th Session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), due to kick off in Kuwait City later in the day. HH the Amir was welcomed upon arrival at Kuwait International Airport, accompanied by a delegation, by HH Amir of the sisterly State of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. According to Qatar News Agency, present to welcome HH the Amir were HH Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, HH Prime Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and a cohort of Their Excellencies ministers of the State of Kuwait. Also in attendance were HE Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Jasem Mohamed Albudaiw, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Kuwait Ali bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud, and HE Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Qatar Khaled bin Badr Al Mutairi. HH the Amir is accompanied by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, along with an official delegation.
