Manama, Board of Directors Chairman of the Muharraq Sports Club, Shaikh Ahmed bin Ali bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, has congratulated HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and captain of the Royal Endurance Team, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on clinching the titles of the 160-km and 120-km races of the World Endurance Championship in Šamorín, Slovakia.
Shaikh Ahmed bin Ali affirmed that the outstanding results attained by HH Shaikh Nasser are the outcome of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s unwavering interest in supporting equestrian and horseracing sports, as part of the royal keenness on preserving authentic Arab sports.
He paid tribute to HH Shaikh Nasser whose efforts, he said, have placed Bahrain among developed countries in the sports field.
