Damascus- The Health Ministry announced on Friday that 129 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, adding that 21 patients recovered, while 6 others passed away.
The Ministry said in a statement that the total number of coronavirus cases reported in Syria has amounted to 28.303 till now, of which 22.531 have recovered, while 2.029 have passed away.
The first coronavirus case was detected in Syria on March 22nd in a person who came from abroad, while the first death from the virus was reported on the 29th of the same month.
